About

Welcome to BlogEtcetera

Welcome. Pull up a chair and stay a while.

This is my corner of the internet where I share the thoughts, stories, and small obsessions that fill my days. Some posts will walk you through a Linux configuration that finally made sense after three frustrating evenings. Others will drop you into a layover airport at 2 a.m., somewhere between continents, watching the world shuffle past in flip-flops and duty-free perfume. Some will wrestle with a poem written three centuries ago and ask what a machine might or might not understand about it. And some will just be me, thinking out loud about a Tuesday.

The name says it all: etcetera. Life doesn’t sort itself into neat categories, and neither does curiosity. One week I’m deep in command-line tricks and version control workflows; the next, I’m reflecting on a story from a prison, or what it means to fast during Ramadan in a workplace that runs on coffee and deadlines.Tech, travel, books, history, culture, ideas, the mundane, the meaningful — if it caught my attention and made me think, it belongs here.

There’s no editorial calendar. No content strategy. No “top ten tips” churned out for an algorithm. I write when something lands or when a problem has a solution worth sharing, when a memory resurfaces and asks to be written down, when an idea won’t leave me alone until I’ve given it shape. Some weeks there’ll be a post; some months, silence. That’s not a bug. That’s a life.

So browse, linger, disagree in the comments, share a post with someone who needs it. And if you stick around long enough, you’ll get to know the person behind the keyboard along with the detours, the enthusiasms, the contradictions, the etcetera.

Glad you’re here.
